About Us

My photo
Preservation Station Market and Event Center
Owensboro, Kentucky, United States
In April of 2012, we- mother and daughter- bought an old 39,000 sq. ft. elementary school in a rural community- at auction. Over the next several years, with the help of the good Lord, we would like to open a community events center, merchantile shops that specialize in mixing the new with the old- in reclaiming and repurposing items found at yard sales, auctions, barn sales, flea markets, and thrift stores, a farmer's market, a country salon and spa, a second-run movie theatre, and eventually a farm-to-table restaurant. In this blog, we will share our story.
